2026 Participant Biographies

Mother Grace is a priest in Saint Wilgefortis Church, an independent church in the Catholic tradition that welcomes trans people into full communion. A graduate of the seminary at Liberty University and a former Southern Baptist minister, Mother Grace had what she calls her own personal "Damascus Road Moment" a few years ago which gave rise to her tandem transitions, one from Southern Baptist to Catholic and the other from Gary to Grace. Mother Grace recently retired as a chaplain (1LT) for the 10th Area Command of the New York Guard, which supplements and augments the New York Army National Guard. The parent of five grown children, Mother Grace spends most summer Saturdays on the competitive drum corps circuit with the Hawthorne Caballeros.
